八十八佛功德殊胜，能除一切身语意业极恶重罪。世尊释迦牟尼佛过去曾教三千人称名其中五十三佛的名号，而令此三千人成就三千佛。
供养八十八佛水晶莲花，祈愿：
弟子业障消除、障难净除，进而生起对三宝纯净的信心，效学诸佛发起清净无私的利他心，早日生起三主要道的证德，乃至证得无上菩提以前，生生世世不舍离诸佛菩萨！
“If our intention of making offering is like crystal, bright and clear, refracting the colourful compassionate light of altruism, then our return would also be pure and bright. What’s pure return? It’s pure happiness, without afflictions and sufferings.” (Unofficial translation of Hope Embark #42)
88 Buddhas have immeasurable merits, could help us eliminate heavy sins of body, speech and mind. Gautama Buddha had once taught 3000 people to recite the name of 53 Buddhas and these 3000 people thus achieved Buddhahood.
Offer crystal lotus to 88 Buddhas, supplicate that:
May I eliminate all karmic obstacles, arise pure faith towards the Three Jewels, following Buddhas to initiate a pure and selfless altruistic heart. May I attain the virtuous merits of the three principal paths soon, and not leaving Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in all lives until attaining Buddhahood!
