小盆花 Offering Flowers

以花供养佛菩萨具有无比殊胜的功德，《佛为首迦长者说业报差别经》云：“若有众生奉施香华，得十种功德。

功德：一者，处世如花；二者，身无臭秽；三者，福香戒香，遍诸方所；四者，随所生处，鼻根不坏；五者，超胜世间，为众归仰；六者，身常香洁；七者，爱乐正法，受持读诵；八者，具大福报；九者，命终生天；十者，速证涅槃。

Offering flowers to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas holds immeasurable and extraordinary merit.

As stated in the “Sutra Spoken by the Buddha to Elder Shuka on the Differences in Karmic Retribution”: If a sentient being offers fragrant flowers, they will receive ten kinds of merit as follows:

Merit:

1. Live in the world like a flower.
2. The body remains free of foul odours.
3. Blessings and the fragrance of precepts and moralitywill spread everywhere.
4. Wherever one is reborn, the sense of smell will remain intact.
5. Transcend the ordinary world, and be respected and revered by all.
6. The body remains fragrant and pureat all times.
7. Love and rejoice in the true Dharma, receiving, holding, and reciting it.
8. Possess great blessings.
9. At the end of life, one will be reborn in the heavens.
10. Quickly attain Nirvana.
