Sound is the most gentle purification in the Dharma. Through music, the voice of the Dharma is expressed;every note and melody carries the power of goodness.Through songs we praise the virtues of the Buddha;through melody we touch and transform the hearts of beings.May those who listen find their minds softened,their afflictions dissolved,and their hearts restored to purity and peace.
《Mahāprajñāpāramitā Śāstra》stated “A Bodhisattva seeks pure and beautiful sounds to adorn the Buddha Land. When beings hear such sounds, their hearts become gentle; with gentleness, they are more easily guided toward awakening. Thus, through the cause of sound, one offers to the Buddha.”
May this Sound Offering bring coolness and joy to all who hear it. Through the resonance of Dharma, may every wholesome wish be fulfilled.
📝Note: On the day of the Dharma Assembly, melodious and uplifting chants praising the virtues of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva will be continuously played in the Guanyin Hall.
