十供养源自於《梁皇宝忏》，又称《慈悲道场忏法》,从最主要的大乘经典—-《法华》《华严》《般若》的要义集结而出，编出了这部长达十卷的忏法。每一卷都会以一段供养赞揭开忏法的序幕，每卷的供品、赞词都不一样以十供养来做功德分别是：香、花、灯、涂、果、茶、食、珠、宝、衣，也就是汉地所盛行的十供养。
十供养具种种殊胜功德：
『香』供养（环香、香炉）, 象征戒香。
–愿一切众生，心灵安稳，身体洁净；三业清净，多闻妙法。
『花』供养（水晶莲花）, 象征微妙万行， 开花结果。
–愿一切众生，人缘极佳，见者欢喜；身常香洁，欢喜真理。
『灯』供养（49盏酥油灯）, 象征光明。
–愿一切众生，眼睛明亮，事业顺利； 获正知见，智慧圆满。
『涂』供养（陈年薄荷油）, 象征甘露水。
–愿一切众生，身心洁净，相貌庄严；远离烦恼，尊贵自在。
『果』供养（新鲜水果）, 象征出世圣果。
–愿一切众生，圆满无缺，不受灾害；受诸喜悦，早证佛果。
『茶』供养（净源茶）, 象征清醒。
–愿一切众生，口齿清香，永离渴爱；安乐少病，具诸福报。
『食』供养（雪莲子面筋）, 象征禅悦妙食。
–愿一切众生，力大无穷，寿命绵长，众人爱乐，辩才无碍。
『珠』供养（手珠）, 象征摩尼宝珠。
–愿一切众生，相貌庄严，威仪美好；破除悭贪，速证圣果。
『宝』供养（药师经牌）, 象征法宝。
–愿一切众生消除业障，自心清净；福寿绵长，永离恶道。
『衣』供养（布书套）, 象征柔和忍辱，出离生死。
–愿一切众生所有安全，不遭破坏; 色泽柔美，具诸财宝。
Ten Offerings come from the “Emperor Liang Jeweled Repentance”, also termed as the “Repentance Dharma of Kindness and Compassion in the Bodhimanda”。It is a compilation of ten scrolls of Repentance practice from “Lotus Sutra”, “Avatamsaka Sutra” and “Prajnaparamita Sutra”. The Praise of Offering is the prologue to every scroll of the Repentance practice. The offerings and praise are all different in each scroll, namely：incense, flowers, light, fragrance, fruits, tea, food, jewellery, dharma treasure and clothes.
Ten Offerings contain various significant merits:
『Incense』offering (coil incense & burner): symbolizing the incense of abstinence.
-May all sentient beings receive the pure fragrance of precept observance, and eliminate all their afflictions and defiled habits.
『Flower』offerings (crystal Lotus): represents great practices become fruitful.
–May all beings have good relationships, lovable by people, always have clean and fragrant bodies, and rejoice in truth.
『Light』offerings (49 ghee lamps) : represents brightness.
–May all beings have bright eyes, smooth career, obtain right views and complete wisdom.
『Fragrance』offerings (aged peppermint oil): represents dew water.
–May all beings have clean body and mind, dignified looks, away from afflictions and be respectable.
『Fruit』offerings (Fresh fruit): represents other-worldly holy fruit.
–May all beings be complete with concentration and wisdom that is free from disasters; to receive all joys and to quickly realise Buddhahood.
『Tea』offerings (Organic Ching Yuan Tea): represents sober.
–May all beings have fragrant mouth, free from thirst, have peace and less illnesses, and with many blessings.
『Food』offerings (gluten puffs with chick peas): represents joy of meditation.
–May all beings be strong and powerful, live long, loved by all, and have unobstructed eloquence.
『Jewels』offerings (bracelet): represents Mani jewel.
–May all beings have dignified looks, break the stinginess and covetousness, and quickly obtain the holy fruit.
『Treasure』offerings (Sutra of Medicine Buddha): represents Dharma gem.
–May all beings eliminate karmic obstacles, have purified mind, longevity and leave the path of miserable realms forever.
『Clothing』offerings (fabric book cover): represents softness and forbearance, out of life and death. May all beings be safe and sound, soft and beautiful in colour, filled with all kinds of treasures.
