According to Difference of Karma Sutra, any sentient beings offering of flowers, they will receive ten kinds of merits:
Live in a beautiful world
The body will always be clean and free of foul smell
Keep the vows strictly and without staining
Nose’s function at its best
The best in the world and admired by everyone
The body is always pure and fragrant
Very eager and diligent for the Buddha’s teachings, holding vows and chanting mantras
Obtain great blessing
Born in heaven at end of life
Accelerate the attainment of nirvana
The merits of offering flowers is so great, so let us offer more flowers to the Buddha with our most sincere heart, so that we can calm our body and mind, and cultivate more blessings for our future lives.
After the puja, you may bring the potted flowers home.
Any surplus of the offerings will be transferred to our donation box for Dharma Propagation as well as to help those in need so that the merits from your donation will grow endlessly.
