《佛欢喜日暨地藏菩萨诞》《Buddha’s Joy Day & Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s Birthday》

农历七月，为孝亲报恩、忆念祖德的重要月份。此月不仅是佛欢喜日、盂兰盆节、僧众结夏日，更是大愿地藏王菩萨圣诞之时。

地藏王菩萨于久远劫前，发下宏誓大愿：
“我今尽未来不可计劫，为是罪苦六道众生广设方便，尽令解脱，而我自身方成佛道。”

菩萨慈悲愿力无量无边，其功德广如虚空、深如大海、高如须弥，十方诸佛亦难尽赞。

The 7th lunar month is a sacred time for filial piety and gratitude to ancestors. It includes the Buddha’s Joyful Day, the Ullambana Festival, and the monastic retreat completion—most notably, it marks the Sacred Birthday of Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva of Great Vows.

“From now until the end of future kalpas, I will use countless skillful means to help all suffering beings in the six realms attain liberation. Only then will I attain Buddhahood.”

His compassionate vows are boundless. His virtue is as vast as space, as deep as the ocean, and as high as Mount Sumeru. Even all Buddhas could not fully praise it through countless eons.
