观音菩萨是大慈大悲的象征，寻声救苦，随类现身，千处祈求千处应，是众生的依怙，更是学习的榜样。与其在苦海中沉沦，坐等菩萨救护，何不效学观音菩萨发心，学习以广大智慧与慈悲心量，帮助自他离苦得乐？  

 来临10月21日是农历九月十九观世音菩萨出家日，在这个殊胜的日子里，雪隆万福佛学院将会于10月20日及10月21日举办《观音出家日》法会，诚邀大家于观音出家日，学习菩萨的精神，诵经吃素，行善集资！  

 Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Guan Yin) is a symbol of great compassion and love, seeking to alleviate suffering and appearing wherever needed.

On the 19th day of the ninth lunar month, which falls on October 21st this year, is the Day of Renunciation for Guan Yin. In conjunction with this auspicious day, KL/Sel Ban Foo Buddhist Organisation will be organizing the “Avalokitesvara’s Renunciation Day” puja on October 20th and 21st. We sincerely invite everyone to join us on this auspicious day to learn about the spirit of the Bodhisattva, recite scriptures, enjoy vegetarian meals, and engage in acts of kindness and merits collection.

药师佛总说

药师琉璃光如来，又称“药师佛”或“大医王佛”，是救度众生身心病苦的慈悲导师。
祂以琉璃光明照耀十方，消除一切业障与疾病，赐予众生健康、安乐与智慧。
药师佛不但医治身体的病，更疗愈心灵的苦，令众生离苦得乐、身心清净。

修持药师法门、供养药师佛，可得内外平安、增福延寿、所求圆满。
今以虔诚心供养，愿众生皆得药师如来光明加持，福慧双增，永离诸苦。

General Introduction to Medicine Buddha

The Medicine Buddha, formally known as Bhagavān Bhaisajyaguru, also called the Great King of Healing, is the compassionate teacher who saves all beings from the sufferings of body and mind.

With his radiant l light shining through all directions, he dispels karmic obstacles and illnesses, bestowing health, peace, and wisdom upon all beings.He not only heals physical ailments but also soothes the sufferings of the heart and mind, leading beings to freedom from pain and to the joy of purity and peace.

By practicing the Medicine Buddha Dharma and making offerings to him, one attains inner and outer harmony, increases blessings and longevity, and fulfills all wholesome wishes.

With sincere devotion in making offerings, we pray that all beings may receive the blessings of Medicine Buddha’s radiant light—gaining both merit and wisdom, and forever free from all suffering.
